[Eames happens to be in a library at the moment (or what appears to be one, in any case), and is walking along the outside line of the shelves, grinning.]

This isn't half bad, really. I could offer a few suggestions, of course, but just the lack of projections means it's cosier than most dreams I've visited.

How long have you been here?

"Here" is kind of weirdly relative. If you mean this... area... then not very long. If you mean this place, then about four months.

"Here" isn't the only thing weirdly relative. [He shakes his head. But at least he sounds somewhat amused - he's been here too long to be aggravated by it.]

Nowhere specific, not in a long time. Stateside, though.

Yeah. I enjoy it, though.

Good. What kind of places have you been to?

Paris, Kyoto, London... [He trails off, then shakes his head.] It's a long list.

Got a favorite?

If I had to pick? Probably Paris. If nothing else, it stands out. [He's smiling, but only a little.]

Do you travel at all?

Nope. Never really left home for any significant time before everything weird started happening. Almost wish I could, though.

Why not start?

Bete Noire frowns on anything other than a one-way trip.
