The next morning, the sun was barely beginning to shine over the park when Sefton awoke. He grumbled a little, tiredly, and rubbed at his eyes. A quick glance to his watch informed him the time was 6:43 AM. Seemed about as good a time as any to get going. A quick glance underneath him showed that the not-stalker was still sleeping there.
Normally, Sefton would have climbed the branches down, but the only workable path he could take would have landed him right on top of Chivy. Instead, he found himself crawling to a skinnier part of the branch he was on, and lowered himself down until he was only holding on with his hands. From here, he dropped down, crouching to try and absorb the impact, but stumbled forward and smacked his hands onto the ground.
It grumbled and groaned, being pulled away from itself by the shock of the magnetic attraction. Sefton winced, sitting back and looking at his now-scratched up hands.
