Riding in any kind of vehicle made him sleepy on the best of days, but being on a bus coupled with the monotonous rhythm of rain hitting its roof was enough to keep Chivy in a near-dozing state. The uncomfortable seats and the low-hum of conversation kept him from falling asleep entirely, but it was a near thing. He wasn't sure where he was going, really, just that he needed to be gone from the last town and didn't feel like facing the watery world outside — he was sure wherever the bus took him would be just fine.
