This is not my hotel. [another look around] Hello? Is there anyone around? It's not that I want to go to the Senate hearing, but I would like to know where I am.

I'm curious. What are your vampires like? If they have any commonalities, I mean.

Can't be in the sunlight; can't enter a private area without permission; can, for lack of a better word, hypnotise you by making eye-contact; don't age; and consume nothing other than blood.

Interesting. [Pause] Would you believe where I come from, most of those are just exaggerations meant to keep the humans in fear, or in some cases, give them a false sense of security?

If I'm going to believe in other worlds, why not take the next step and believe they have different rules? [Meaning he reserves the right to be skeptical on all points.]

[Shrugs] That's actually what made it all make sense to me.

I was only introduced to the idea a little while ago, I'm still trying to figure it out.

I promise you, the harder you think about it, the less sense it makes.

I prefer thinking to not thinking, personally.

I can think of several people I wish would adopt that particular preference. [Snort]

I can, too. Some people just aren't cut out for it.
