Questions, questions everywhere

Bored, bored, bored, so let's play a game. No neithers, no boths, no "this one if"s.

Would you rather be able to go forward in time on three different occasions in your life or go back in time once? Quick, quick, time's wasting.

((OoC: Welcome to anybody at all. Please? There's a bunch of questions here if you want to question back (or you can IM me, I've got like 100 of the things), and you're very welcome to threadhop. Like I'm going to let Ben have all the fun.)

For obvious reasons, the time and age gap did not occur to me at all. It's a valid point, though.

Got a point in the past in mind, Loki?

Not offhand, but there are a few possibilities. Anything in particular you'd want to skip to?

Mm. Nothing too far. I'd probably just be using the skips because I have to due to the question restrictions.

I suppose skipping to the end of this runaway period would be nice, but something tells me I'd regret it.

There's a story about someone who kept skipping ahead in life and wound up missing everything.

There are a few, I'm sure. I actually knew someone who did, though.

How did that work out?

[identity profile] darkbladedstar.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
Poorly. When it finally dawned on him that he couldn't go backwards like he could go forwards, he committed suicide over all that he'd lost.

Unfortunate. Time travel is a tricky thing to play with.

[identity profile] darkbladedstar.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
And in all my five thousand years, it's nothing I've consciously played with. That should be a lesson to some people.

Out of curiosity, nything else on your no list?

[identity profile] darkbladedstar.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
... You know? I don't know. I highly doubt it, anyway.

... Though, I didn't know what mistletoe was until I ended up falling in with the rest of the... "crowd" here. They won't let me live that down.

I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. At least you know now?

[identity profile] darkbladedstar.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Given the people I live with? Yes, definitely.

... I want to argue they aren't that bad, but I'd be lying.

[That actually gets a laugh~]

They are that bad. They're better than some, though.
