windandstorm | Everyone likes picnics!!

[The mood in musespace has been a little negative lately, and Naminé just won't have that! So, it's picnic party time!!

In a huge grassy field, beneath the shade of a few large trees (that are perfect for climbing, by the way), there are quite a few picnic tables set up. They're all covered in various picnic foods, as well as just regular snack foods if things like hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken salad and whatever else aren't up your alley. Chips, popcorn, fruits, some raw vegetables and dip... Sodas, juices... and, of course, what picnic would be complete without cakes, cookies, brownies and rice crispy treats? And is that a churn of homemade ice cream? Why yes, yes it is!

There's no shortage of things to do, either! It's a grassy field, use your imagination! Kites? Got them. Sports? Pick one, the equipment's probably lying around somewhere. Chairs, blankets... Heck, you could just sit and watch the sun set over the hills in the distance. It looks like it's just about time for that to happen...

Naminé, in the meanwhile, is sitting on a very low-hanging branch, swinging her legs back and forth in the air while sipping on a juice box and waiting for other people to show up.

Surely this will bring smiles to people's faces!]

[Hey, someone he knows! He comes over and smiles.]

I wasn't sure if you'd come or not.

[Oh good, he's not alone now.]

Uh. ... I wasn't. ... [Shrug] Why... is this even here?

I don't know. [He smiles, let's try the answer he was given.] Because it's a party.

[Snort]

Right. ... [He picks up a potato chip and looks it over] Not like any party I've seen.

So... um. There's someone I want you to meet.

[.... confused look?]

[Eirel smiles, looking hopeful]

You'll see why when you meet him. I just.. have to find him again.

[.... /? /? /? He just stares at Eirel. Maybe that'll make him start making sense.]

[Eirel looks around until he spots the person he was talking to earlier, then he tugs on Aren's sleeve.]

Over there. Come on.

[Ooooh....kay. He follows.]

Who is it?

You'll see. [once they get over to him, Eirel smiles at Chris and nods to Aren.] I found him.

[Aren hasn't actually gotten a good look at the other guy, he's busy looking off to the side. Give it a second or two.]

[Whoa, man. Whoa.]

You weren't kidding about the resemblance.

You're sure you don't know each other?

[Huh? He finally looks over--]

What-... [Blink!] ... [That looks just like him when he was a kid. ... The hell is this?!]

Positive. [He crosses his arms, looking this Aren dude up and down.]

[He looks from one to the other. He really has no idea what to say, especially since he doesn't know the other's name]

[He stares a bit longer... then shakes his head, crossing his arms in a very similar fashion.]

... Uh. ...Who-...

Who... what? [And he's just kinda goading him now. At least Chris is used to really, really weird stuff going on.]

[He decides names are important, and complete sentences are good.]

I'm Eirel of the Locus, and I've already introduced Aren. Who are you?

Chris Halliwell. [He reaches off to the side for the plate of goodies he'd amassed, then frowns when his hand hits the table. Another grope, and the plate seems to find its way to his hand... or maybe it was there all along?] "Of the Locus"?

[He just... watches Chris. This is downright eerie. He reminds himself that staring is probably a bad thing, though, and instead turns his attention to one of the tables, looking over the strange foods again...]
