[The surroundings have decided to be a cavern at the moment. (The one underneath Hurog, in fact, not that anyone else would recognize it.) Oreg isn't entirely sure what to do with the fact that it looks like it should but he still can't sense the keep, especially since he can't decide if that's a good or a bad thing. He's standing and looking at where the dragon bones should be, arms crossed]

What's the point of this place if nothing here changes anything in the real world?

Chill out, for one. No one ever got anywhere by being wound-up tighter than a ball of string. [Beat] Okay, well maybe some people did. But it's still not healthy.

Who, me? No way. I'm just a raven, not some psychiatrist. I like talking to people, but that's about it. Their problems are their own. But, if something I have to say just happens to make them think twice about things, then hey, it happens.

Yep, always. I just wasn't always a raven. I'm pretty sure, anyway.

What were you before?

Human. I don't really remember much. I guess there's a reason for that. But I know I used to be human, and I died. Instead of going to the afterlife or whatever, though, my boss showed up and asked me to be his raven instead.

Do you ever regret your choice?

Nope. I like what I've got going. The Dreaming is full of surprises, I'm sure you can imagine. I mean, of course you can. It's The Dreaming. And, sure, I think about what the afterlife could have been. The more I think about it, though, the happier I am that I got this chance at all.

The Dreaming's exactly what it sounds like. That's where you go when you dream. You go to his realm. [His left wing moves, almost like a shrug. If ravens could shrug.]

Hah. I know a few gods. No, my boss is above the gods. Been around since before the gods were even thought up into existence. You should hear him explain it, it's almost poetic.

[He looks around] Kind of a tight spot you've got here. Never been one for caves and small spaces, for obvious reasons. But it's not so bad. The lights are a nice touch.
