[Eames happens to be in a library at the moment (or what appears to be one, in any case), and is walking along the outside line of the shelves, grinning.]

This isn't half bad, really. I could offer a few suggestions, of course, but just the lack of projections means it's cosier than most dreams I've visited.

[And some other stuff that would have probably been prefaced with "Don't ever tell him, but..." had Arthur thought the guy would actually show up. Regardless, he gives no indication that there's anything along those lines he's leaving out.]

I suppose I should just be grateful I was worthy of a mention.

Is that an honor with him?

If it wasn't immediately preceded or followed by an insult, yes, I'd say so. [For Eames, at least.]

[Heero shakes his head, laughing quietly.]

No insults. Not that I can remember. I guess he's spoken with me more than he has with others, but we haven't really spoken much.

You said we could leave but we would just end up back here later?

If there's a way to leave on your own - on purpose - I don't know it. Maybe someone else does. There are some powerful people around. But yeah, however you manage to get back, you'll end up here again at some point.

You've never left intentionally?

[He shakes his head.]

How long have you been here, then?

Almost three years. Here, I mean. Only been a few months back home. [He sighs, the kind of sigh that comes when you're in the middle of something that's getting to be too tough to drag out.]
