Just have to find another place to go

[Sherlock has decided that he likes whatever this place is - a replication of his apartment, yes, but it has just the right mix of quiet and chaos going on in the background that he can get some proper thinking done. And God knows he has a lot of thinking to do right now.

He sits on one end of the couch, hands together and resting beneath his chin, eyes closed. The observant will notice just how tense he is, as if he's expecting something to happen. The ridiculously observant may notice the small spots on the left side of his collar - dried blood stains, there for days at least. And those with a sort of "sixth sense" or whatever for odd things? Well... maybe you can figure it out.

He just sits, unmoving, for now. How long can a person keep this up, exactly...?

((OoC: BBC'S Sherlock, AU'd! Wide open post, do feel free to bother him. He needs it.))

... Aren't people supposed to, you know, move?

[Someone call for the observant?

Kirachi notices the marks fairly quickly, and it gets a raised eyebrow from her and a slightly concerned look. She's not too sure talking to him is exactly a
smart idea, but...]

Hey. You alright?

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
[He doesn't seem to have any reaction at all to Sherlock's sudden movement.]

"If they feel so inclined?" I wasn't aware moving was suddenly entirely voluntary.

[Appearing in unexpected places is something of an occupational hazard, which doesn't mean he's particularly fond of the experience, but does mean that he's refusing to be startled. He decides he may as well take a look at the new surroundings (is that a skull on the mantelpiece?) but that hardly precludes asking questions.]

This is yours, then?

[identity profile] xfire-birdx.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
... Uh huh. [Kirachi is fairly unconvinced because, dood, bites. She figures those probably aren't supposed to be there.] You don't... look entirely alright.

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 05:47 pm (UTC)(link)
That sounds incredibly dull. What's to be gained from not moving? The joy of knowing you look like a human statue?

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[Any pointed remarks about Tallis's questioning are going straaaiight over his head.]

Sure. Right. So. Are you trying to gain a different... way of thinking, or whatever it is you just spouted off at me?

[identity profile] xfire-birdx.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Compared to, well...

[Yeah, she really don't know how to go about stating this, and ends up subconsciously placing a hand on the side of her neck as she thinks.]

Nevermind, it's not important. You just seemed... tense.

Models are usually easier to own than originals, strictly speaking. [Eames shakes his head — that isn't the point. Not that he necessarily has one.] The place it's pretending to be, that's yours?

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
... So you're not moving just to not move. Right.

[Tallis totally knows when to just let something go. Really. 8|]

[identity profile] xfire-birdx.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:28 pm (UTC)(link)
So... you're aware of, ah...

[She realizes where her hand is, currently, and crosses her arms in front of her.]

The bites?

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Has anyone told you you're sort of rude?

[identity profile] fearyourmind.livejournal.com 2011-04-03 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, more often than I particularly care to admit.
